The 2010 Men's Fall retreat is on the calendar much earlier than past years and the Men's Ministry team wants to be sure the date is on your calendar. This year's retreat, September 24-26, will be heald at the Sky Corral Lodge, near Stove Prairie, on the Old Flowers Road. The place is beautiful and offers great outdoor recreation opportunities.
The title and theme of this year's retreat is 'Bouncing Back'. Our speaker is Rich Dixon, a Fort Collins Middle School teacher for more than 30 years. Rich's book, Relentless Grace, traces his chilling and unforgettable journey following a tragic fall that left him paralyzed and in a wheelchair.
With no easy answers to suffering, no "read a verse, say a prayer formula" for a happy life, Rich will share his journey with us. In all the ups and downs, the joys and disappointments, it's only God who brings healing and change to our lives.
Thanks for the Men's Tree Sale, we're able to keep the registration cost to $65, which includes two nights and five meals beginning with Friday dinner. Watch for the brochure in late August. You can sign hold your spot by signing up with a $25 deposit at the retreat sign-up on Sunday morning. Some tent campsites are available. If you have questions, please call the church office at 223-6507. |

As your student participates this year in either Foothold (Middle School) or Higher Ground (High School) activities, we have one all inclusive Permission Slip and a separate Medical Release Form that we need to have completed and signed.
