Why Join a Small Group?
In our world, finding a place to belong is not always easy. God never
intended for us to do life alone – but to do life together in
community.
Vision
That we at ECC would be a community of small groups desiring to
build authenticity where people come to know Christ, learn from God’s
Word, connect with, care for and love one another in order to reach out
and serve the world around us.
“Then
we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the
waves...Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow
up into Him who is the Head, that is, Christ. From Him
the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament,
grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.” Ephesians 4: 14-16

As one way to begin building new relationship with folks at ECC the church is hosting ‘Dinner for 6'. They take place in the fall and in the spring. The concept is simple enough in that you have dinner with roughly a group of six different folks once a month for three months. The idea is that you would be able to have dinner with and meet about fifteen different folks in a short period of time in the comfort of your homes. The hope is that perhaps at one of those dinners enough interest would be generated between individuals or couples that new relationships would take root. Our next Dinner for Six(ish) will begin in October 2008 and will meet in November and again in January 2009. Sign up in the narthex during September and pick up a card with more details. Bon Apetite!
